Bit Converter converts a Pelham bit for use with two reins to one. Buckle these round leather straps to the snaffle and curb rings of the Pelham bit, then attach the single rein to the resulting loop.
Using a converter and single rein allows greater control, but restricts uneven pressure on the curb or snaffle rein. It can be particularly helpful for horses requiring strong bit, but need a lighter pressure on the curb.
